As part of the top 20 Global Leadership Team at Thomson Reuters, I lead innovation and oversee the creation of all product and digital experiences ($7B global organization) resulting in a consistent 6%-8% YoY growth with a 150%+ increase in its share price during my tenure.
Built and scaled the first centralized Design Org from a functional team of 120 in the U.S. to 325+ globally—expanding into Toronto, Mexico City, London, Zürich, Sweden, and India—while reshaping it into a strategic force driving business decisions and launching impactful experiences. Additionally, introduced new cross-functional ways of working that elevated customer empathy and transformed collaboration and decision-making across the company accelerating our digital and AI transformation. Highlights include:
- Developed and launched a system-based AI pattern library accelerating AI adoption across 13 flagship Thomson Reuters products in 2024. Constant innovation resulted in a 94% increase in users with a 92% increase in skill executions between Q4 2024 and Q2 2025.
- Delivered the first-ever Design System unifying 3,500+ engineers across 150 products, cutting new experience build time by 35% and improving page load speed by 15%.
- Delivered a Research Repository featuring 1,300+ directional and foundational studies, generating 101k+ views since launch. Additionally, introduced a Customer Experience Outcomes framework to simplify insight consumption and track product improvements. Together, these elevated the voice of the customer, driving strategic product and funding decisions and transforming how Thomson Reuters engages with research.
- Fostered a culture of inclusive design by establishing new accessibility standards across all products, ensuring compliance with government WCAG requirements. This transformation made accessibility a universal priority, driving increased investment and executive program visibility.
- Launched the first Developer Community for Thomson Reuters, which has grown to 1450 members accessing and building solutions using our APIs, generating an additional $30m in annual revenue.
- Launched Thomson Reuters’ first Developer Community—now with 1,450 members leveraging our APIs to build solutions, driving an additional $30M annual revenue—and delivered the company’s initial digital experiences, resulting in 80% YoY growth in pure digital sales, a 47% increase in self-service interactions, a 44% QoQ rise in guest payments, and a 12% boost in self-service renewals.

Led a creative team delivering seamless, device-agnostic voice experiences, enabling 3rd party Alexa integration for customers including Facebook, Ecobee, Fitbit, Bose, and Sonos on Smart TVs, displays, hearables/wearables, speakers, and PCs.
- Streamlined customer on-boarding that increased 1st time utterances and decreased customer lapse rates with an improved on-boarding solution embedded into a 3rd party products.
- Delivered the Voice Interoperability Initiative's Multi-Agent Design Guide, an industry first guidance for creating cohesive voice solutions on devices with more than one voice agent.
Selling Partner Services (7.2017 / 1.2020)
Rebuilt and led a high-performing global design team creating innovative tools for Amazon’s 3rd-party sellers and vendors, driving a 118% increase in Gross Merchandise Sales (2017: $177B - 2020: $386B).
- Optimized existing tools and launched new solutions that enhanced sellers’ efficiency in adding and managing inventory on Amazon globally, empowering growth and streamlining operations.
- Launched first 3rd Party App Store marketplace for Sellers to leverage trusted third-party software partners resulting in a 37% increase in sellers listing speed and a 43% decrease in time to first sale.
- Delivered the first design system supporting 1,000+ engineers worldwide across 4,000 apps, boosting customer satisfaction by 11% and increasing high-value click-through rates by 6.7%.
AWS (6.2015 / 7.2017)
As part of the leadership team, I led User Experience for Mechanical Turk’s (mTurk) global expansion, driving first-time QoQ profitability. mTurk, an online crowdsourcing marketplace, connected over 500k workers across 190+ countries with organizations and individuals worldwide for micro-tasks.
- Launched the first integrated communications platform, providing customers with insights into our efforts to enhance their experience, fostering transparency and trust.
- Redesigned tools for requesters on mTurk, streamlining the process to add tasks faster, which significantly increased the volume of work available to 500k+ global workers.

Founded Produxs, an award-winning User Experience design firm, securing Amazon as our first client and driving a 68.84% revenue increase from 2009-2011. In 2012, we ranked #94 on the Puget Sound Business Journal’s Fastest Growing Private Company list and were named a Best Place to Work by both the Puget Sound Business Journal and Seattle Magazine. I also grew our client portfolio to include global brands such as Microsoft, Qualcomm, Starbucks, Clarisonic, Expedia, Kodak, and T-Mobile.
Following the 2013 merger with Peak Systems to form UpTop, I served as Chief Creative Strategist, leading the corporate creative strategy to expand service offerings and achieve a 20% YoY revenue increase, reaching $6.8M. In 2015, we earned a spot on the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies list (#4675).
In 2012, I was honored by the Puget Sound Business Journal in Washington State as a 40 Under 40 Award Winner, selected from over 400 accomplished nominees. This prestigious award recognizes individuals under 40 who are driving the economy, demonstrating dynamic leadership, and making significant contributions to the business community. Notable client results:
- Created a Business Intelligence reporting solution for Microsoft, providing strategic insights that accelerated the global growth of Windows Phone. Separately, led the launch of Microsoft’s new Global Marketing Operations suite of internal productivity tools, enabling better analysis of external marketing initiatives and driving a 22% increase in NSAT over the previous year.
- Redesigned the Starbucks’ worldwide online retail and corporate careers experience, transforming talent acquisition to attract top global talent. The new experience enhanced the understanding of Starbucks’ employee benefits, reinforced its company culture, and positioned the brand as an employer of choice.
- Redesigned Clarisonic’s eCommerce experience delivering a 58% increase in conversion rate and a 300% increase in the sale of targeted items within the 1st 30 days of launch.
- Crafted the creative vision for Expedia Local Expert, expanding Expedia’s reach beyond travel by integrating in-market concierges into its online booking platform. The program generated $250M in annual revenue by offering activities, tours, and services to Expedia’s global customer base.
